We have started working on our ecozone models:5 groups have been assigned 5 different Canadian zones to reproduce in a 3D model form.Materials for this do not have to be purchased. I encourage the students to use recycled things from home and natural items from the outdoors(twigs, evergreeen branches, stones etc.). Most of the groups now have bases but these need to be strong enough to support the model they will build.Although we have talked about this in class, please discuss with your child the types of flora and fauna found within their zone and what they can do to enhance their projects. I will give them as much time as needed in class provided that they manage their time properly.
